Bright Light Marketing was founded in 1990 as Lynette Lo Tom Communications, a one-person public relations consultancy that quickly grew into a thriving full-service marketing firm. Twenty years later, our firm provides customized client services ranging from publicity, promotions and special events, to reputation issues, internal communications and crisis management. We strive to provide our clients with maximum creativity and value for their investment.

The Bright Light Marketing team members are among the most experienced public relations professionals in Hawaii, with extensive print and broadcast news experience in Hawaii and the mainland . Bright Light Marketing has helped hundreds of organizations advance through strategic media exposure, creative advertising and promotions, and memorable special events.

Bright Light Marketing is a five-time awardee as one of Hawaii’s Fastest 50 growing companies by Pacific Business News (PBN). The firm is also a three-time recipient of PBN’s “Women Who Mean Business” awards, which recognizes the top 25 woman-owned businesses in Hawaii.

After 16 years of working with retail giants—The Gap, Levi Strauss & Co., Britannia, and Esprit —Charlene Lo Chan came home to Hawaii. Today, Chan brings national and international perspectives to the firm and its clientele, as well as her expertise in operational and cost efficiencies.

With 35 years in broadcast news, Wally Zimmermann is the consummate media expert. He helps clients manage their stories in print, on air and online. In both good and not-so-good situations , you want Wally’s expertise on Hawaii audiences and the media they watch, read and listen to. He also provides clear useable media coaching and preparation.

Regino Ojano III
Marketing Information Specialist

With eight years of marketing experience, Regino Ojano III specializes in developing and implementing strategic advertising plans; graphic design for collateral and advertising production; and shooting and editing photos and video. He is skilled in social media and creative programs such as InDesign, Photoshop and Final Cut Pro.
