Wally Zimmermann joined Bright Light Marketing in 2006, bringing 35 years of experience in broadcast news production and management. As senior vice president of Client Services, he provides strategic advice and expert counsel on effective communication with news organizations, develops best practices in crisis situations and conducts media coaching. He is also responsible for the company's strategic growth plan.

Prior to joining Bright Light Marketing, he was executive producer and news director at KHON-TV, vice president/news for KITV Television, news director for WLUK-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin and WDIV-TV in Detroit. Zimmermann also worked as a network field producer for both ABC News and NBC News and as a producer for Paul Harvey News and Comment and ABC Radio News.

Zimmermann served as director of communications for the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii. He has taught journalism courses at the University of Missouri at Columbia and served as a panelist and speaker for various community organizations and journalism forums. In 2006, Zimmerman produced the televised Hawaii Gubernatorial Debate, on behalf of the Society of Professional Journalists.
